Blogging metrics for a successful blog

There are multiple methods for measuring how well your blog is doing, but the two most common are pageviews and unique readers. Pageviews simply means the total number of times your content has been viewed. Unique readers is a little more complex and is calculated based on the number of times a person has accessed your blog in a month.

There are a lot of things to consider when it comes to blogging. Having the right audience, nice photos, and compelling stories and even the right layout can be quite the conundrum. But there are also some fundamental things to consider. First and foremost, you need to ensure that your blog is being found.

Many blogs go unrecognized because they aren't search engine optimized. For example, you need to put your blog name as the title of the page where it can be found easily by Google. It's also important to use keywords in the blog. But how do you know what the right keywords are? These two things, among other things, can make or break a blog.
